Our Mission

Literacy is a cornerstone of our society. It is a fundamental skill that opens the world to us. Lit for Life Tutoring engages students who are having a difficult time learning to read and increases their ability to access the world around them. We work to increase literacy across the country at a time when literacy rates are sinking for American students. Reversing these statistics creates a better society for all. 

We are dedicated to ensuring students maximize their opportunities to grow in their literacy skills by equipping them with the tools they need to become lifelong readers and learners.
